This morning Ace, Jacqui and I made it to the 7:30 am mass at Jac's local church....
It's a beautiful Cathedral:
The problem I have with this church is every time I visit there... something big is going on to make an already longer-than-average mass ...Friggin Long...ER...!
Today was no exception!...The priest - who had been there for the last 10 years - was leaving.... Which meant he had to personally thank every individual in San Francisco - by Name - for everything that had done for him... It went on for friggin-Ever!
In this church, they can take any song and turn it into the 'Henry the VIIIth' song, "Second Verse... Same as the First!"... if ya know what I mean...They can't stop singing!
Then they announced there would be not one... but TWO collections today. Why?.... Because I was visiting! (>_<)
To add to my enjoyment, there was a little Spanish kid in a little white tuxedo who was to be baptized today... The kid looked familiar... He was only about 3 feet tall and in that little white suit I couldn't help notice the similarity between him and Herve Villechaize... I was waiting for someone to say, "Welcome to Fantasy Island!"
Today my nephew BB and his friend will help me put my new GPS on my bike.
Yesterday I saw a couple wild turkeys on Jac's street:
Later that night George and Jacqui got all dolled up to go to a wedding... Before they left I gave George the speech I always got from my parents whenever I was taking a girl out on the town:
"Remember.... She is someone's Daughter and someone's Sister!... Take care of her!" ^_^
He did a fine job and got her back the way she went!
Well, I must get moving... The sun is trying to come out but it's still very cold around here.
